Artist Statement:

My work explores different aspects of life through the lens of faith, cultures, still lives and people’s personal stories. With a Canon Rebel I capture a sense of beauty and pride in life and the culture that is my subject. I have always been fascinated with my own Mexican heritage and the beauty of life as a whole. I feel a sense of responsibility going forward to showcase the hidden treasures in the people who silenced. The importance of this kind of exposure to culture and different perspectives of life gives you a better understanding in the world we live in and how to create a better world with love, decency, and respect of others.
